Munch & Lunch

Under the guidance of experienced trainers, consumers run the in-house snack shop, Munch & Lunch.  The snack shop serves breakfast and lunch to people with disabilities attending programs at Southwest Community Services, Inc.  After successful completion of the program, individuals will have experience in:

  • Menu planning and preparation
  • Nutrition and restricted diets
  • Inventory planning and purchasing
  • Safe food handling and storage
  • Food preparation and cooking
  • Surface area cleaning and disinfecting
  • Customer sales and service
  • Handling financial transactions

  • January 6th - Baked Chicken, MAshed Potatoes with Mixed Vegetble $5.50
  • January 13th - Turkey Sub on Wheat Bread and Garden Vegetable Soup $5.50
  • January 20th - Baked Pork Chop with Black Beans and Rice $5.50
  • January 27th - Meatloaf with Green Beans and Seasoned Pasta $5.50
