Munch & Lunch
Under the guidance of experienced trainers, consumers run the in-house snack shop,
Munch & Lunch. The snack shop serves breakfast and lunch to people with
disabilities attending programs at Southwest Community Services, Inc. After
successful completion of the program, individuals will have experience in:
- Menu planning and preparation
- Nutrition and restricted diets
- Inventory planning and purchasing
- Safe food handling and storage
- Food preparation and cooking
- Surface area cleaning and disinfecting
- Customer sales and service
- Handling financial transactions

- September 3rd - Salisbury Steak in Onion Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and a Dinner Roll $5.50
- September 10th - Two Sloppy Joes and a Bag of Chips $5.50
- September 17th - Grilled Pork Chops, Rice Pilaf with Mixed Vegetable and a Dinner Roll $5.50
- September 24th - Chicken Salad Sandwich with a Bag of Chips $5.50
